This march will happen in conjunction with Rome’s other pride festivities on June 20, increasing the number of expected attendees to potentially hundreds of thousands.

Unionized airline employees will go on strike across three airports in Paris, France, on June 18; expect travel delays.

Employees associated with the French Democratic Confederation of Labour (CFDT) will strike for 24 hours on June 18. Large numbers of domestic and international visitors are expected. Authorities will station over 55,000 police officers and 20,000 military personnel to support event security operations. Significant travel disruptions and heightened security expected.

Protesters have reportedly set fire to vehicles and properties, attacked police officers, and targeted locations associated with migrant communities.

Expect heightened security and travel disruptions during the Champions League Football final in Budapest, Hungary, from May 29 to May 31.

Heightened security and travel disruptions are expected across Budapest, from May 29–31 during the UEFA Champions League final weekend at Puskás Arena. Over 4,000 police officers will be deployed around the city, with road closures expected to cause congestion near the stadium and Budapest International Airport (BUD). Additional designated fan zones in Heroes Square, Napozoret, and MTK Sportpark will host thousands of fans over the weekend.

Doctors will strike nationwide across Spain on May 18-22; expect disruptions to healthcare services.

The Spanish Confederation of Medical Unions (CESM) organized the strikes which have been ongoing since February 2026. No strike-related protest have been announced but are likely. The strike is expected to cause disruptions and closures to healthcare facilities, routine appointments, elective surgeries and specialist appointments. The emergency rooms will remain open during the strike, anticipate longer wait times.

Anticipate heightened security and travel disruptions across Japan, during pro-peace demonstrations on May 19 and 29.

Localized disruptions are expected in Tokyo and other major urban centers in Japan on May 19 and May 29 with protesters gathering in response to proposed revisions to Japan’s pacifist constitution, concerns over lethal arms exports and the ongoing Middle East conflict. Protesters are expected to gather at key locations including the National Diet, the Ministry of Defence, the Prime Minister’s Office and main train stations. Past demonstrations have recorded significant turnout. Expect disruptions to public transport and local traffic.
