From April 22 to April 30, the 2026 Asian Beach Games will take place in Sanya, China, across multiple locations. The Asian Beach Games are an event held every four years, featuring 14 sports and nearly 2,000 athletes from at least 45 countries. The event will cause localized road closures, traffic congestion, and public transportation delays. Local security will increase significantly due to the event. Nearly 118,000 tickets have already been sold for the event.

One dead and 13 injured following a shooting at the Teotihuacán Pyramids in Mexico on April 20; expect heightened security.

A gunman has opened fire at the Teotihuacan Pyramids on April 20. The armed individual opened fire from the top of the Pyramid of the Moon resulting in one death and 13 injured.
