The 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) will be held in Manila, Philippines, from July 20-24; expect heightened security.

The 59th ASEAN AMM will take place at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila, Philippines, from July 20-24. The sessions will run daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Approximately 7,000 security personnel have been assigned to ensure safety. Notable diplomats, including Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, will attend the event. Enhanced security measures and checkpoints will be set up around the venue.

The Mad Cool festival will take place in Madrid, Spain, from July 8-11; heightened security and travel disruptions expected.

The tenth anniversary of the Mad Cool festival will take place at the Iberdrola music space in Madrid, Spain, from July 8-11. The four-day event will run daily from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM and is expected to attract around 200,000 attendees. Via Lateral de Servico M-45 and Avenida Real de Pinto will likely experience traffic congestion due to the festival. With the event having prominent artists such as Halsey, Twenty-One Pilots, and Foo Fighters, it is likely that heightened security will be implemented.

The Ultra Europe 2026 will take place at Park Mladeži, Split, Croatia, from July 10-12; expect heightened security.

Ultra Europe 2026 is a three-day EDM/Techno event that will begin at 8:00 PM and run until 2:00 AM each day. The festival roster includes prominent artists such as Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, and DJ Snake. The event is expected to draw around 150,000 attendees over the three days. Following the festival, island and beach parties on the islands of Brac and Vis will attract the festival crowd. Due to the high-profile event, heightened security is likely to be in place.

The RIO BABEL festival will attract over 50,000 attendees to Madrid, Spain, from July 3-5; expect heightened security.

The Auditorio Miguel Ríos in Madrid, Spain, will host around 50,000 attendees for the RIO BABEL festival from July 3 to July 5. RIO BABEL aims to celebrate the ninth edition of integration between European and Latin American cultures. Each day of the event will occur from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM the next day. With a large attendance expected, travel disruptions around the auditorium and heightened security are expected.
