Multiple transportation union groups will strike across Italy between July 20 and 25; expect major travel disruptions.

Aviation, public transport, and rail unions will engage in several isolated strikes between July 20 and 25. Localized transport strikes will take place across various cities, including Florence and Genova, while nationwide strikes will occur on July 21 and 24. The strikes are expected to cause widespread public transit delays, reduced service, cancellations, and heightened demand for alternative modes of transit.

Transportation workers are set to participate in a 24-hour strike in Palermo, Italy, on July 11; expect travel delays. 

Amat transportation employees and the Cub Transporti union are set to strike for 24 hours, affecting bus and tram services. No motive or demands have been announced for the strike. Minimum service schedules will be in effect, but it is likely that due to overwhelming travel demand, travelers will experience transportation delays.

Jazzablanca music festival will attract thousands of attendees from July 2 – 11 in Casablanca, Morocco; expect travel delays.

An international music and jazz festival, Jazzablanca, will take place from July 2 to July 11 at Anfa Park. With over 50 music artists and approximately 70,000 guests in attendance, the festival will attract large crowds in central Casablanca. Traffic congestion is likely along routes connecting Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) to central Casablanca.

Bus drivers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will stage an indefinite strike, starting on June 29; expect travel disruptions.

Due to failed negotiations between the Union of Road Workers and transit employers, bus drivers across Rio de Janeiro will strike indefinitely, beginning on June 29. The strike is expected to affect thousands of people, including residents and tourists, and alternative modes of transportation will likely become more sought after.
