The Laborer’s Commission has called for a 24-hour commuter rail strike in Madrid, Spain on 30-31 October. This strike will affect dispatching, ticketing, and security services at all Cercanias Madrid Stations. The strike has been organized to protest management changes at Cercanias Madrid and will cause considerable travel disruptions within the area.
Beginning on 27 October, doctors affiliated with the Association of Physicians and Higher Graduates of Madrid will launch an indefinite strike on the last Tuesday of every month. This action has been organized to denounce the central and regional governments’ alleged mistreatment of doctors and other healthcare workers.

Beginning on June 13th health workers and professionals have called for an indefinite strike. The strike will continue until demands are met by the Ministry of Health. This strike will lead to major disruptions in public health services.

High tension is expected between the groups leading to potential violence and inadvertent danger to bystanders. Security forces may attempt to enforce COVID-19 regulations and forcibly disperse crowds.
