Incident Details

A technical issue at the Omatando Substation has shut off power across Oshakati. Oshakati Premier Electric is currently working to restore electricity. It is unclear when maintenance workers will resolve the issue. A similar blackout earlier in April left Oshakati without power for 30 hours.  Local reporting suggests the blackouts are unrelated.

Traveler Safety
