Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle venue from May 10 until May 17. Heightened security will accompany the event amid controversy surrounding Israel’s participation; 5 countries will boycott Eurovision this year for this reason. The local government will deploy 500 security personnel to ensure safety during the event. Eurovision will also cause road closures, traffic congestion and public transportation disruptions in Vienna’s city center.
