Incident Details

The Travel Advisory Level 3 (Reconsider Travel) has been issued due to unrest from the recent mass arrival of migrants from Morocco. The overall advisory for Spain remains at Level 2 (Exercise Increased Caution). The large and uncontrolled influx has created unpredictable security conditions, prompting Spain to deploy the military, National Police, and Civil Guard to reinforce the enclave. The migration surge overwhelmed local resources, and Spanish authorities are continuing efforts to restore order.
