According to election monitoring organizations, the campaign season has been marked by improper use of state resources, hate speech, and misinformation. Politics in the country remain divided along ethnic lines between Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs, and three million people are registered to vote. Election related unrest is unlikely, but possible. If it does take place, it will likely occur at voting stations or elsewhere that has crowds.
