A school shooting in Bang Kruai, Thailand, on August 7, at 10:00 AM, resulted in numerous casualties; expect heightened security.

Incident Details

A 14-year-old student opened fire at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bang Kruai district, on outskirts of Bangkok, at approximately 10:00 AM, on August 7, killing at least 7 and wounding more than 30 people. The suspect attempted to take his own life at the scene and later died at the hospital, bringing the total death toll to 8. The shooting is Thailand’s deadliest since the 2022 Nong Bua Lamphu massacre.
