Through at least mid-December, protests and rallies are likely across France due to the removal of Prime Minister Michel Barnier and his administration on December 4. Multiple civil society groups have announced protests, with many calling for the resignation of the president. Heightened security will be stationed in major cities. Business and travel disruptions are possible. Clashes between police and protesters may occur.

Through December 12, more than 500,000 people are expected to participate in a Hindu festival in India and Nepal.

The Hindu festival of Vivah Panchami will be observed through December 12 between Janakpur, Nepal and Ayodhya, India. Over 2,000 security personnel will be deployed in Janakpur, and the Jathi Pipraun border, with 500,000 attendees expected. A parade from Janakpur to Ayodhya is scheduled for December 8. Disruptions at Ayodhya and Janakpur airports are possible.
