There will be a unionized metro strike in Athens at 21:00 on 7 July, over a labor dispute with management. The strike will most likely affect all services on Athens metro lines 1, 2, 3 during the strike. This may also cause overcrowding on other forms of public transportation.
Employees of the airport authority Paris Aéroport are planned to participate in a strike on 9 July. The strike will impact services and operations at Paris Orly Airport (ORY), Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), and Paris Le Bourget Airport (LBG).

A fire was reported at the Ming Dih chemical factory in the Bang Phli district on 6 July. The fire started early on 5 July and led to multiple explosions.
