The Amsterdam Dance Event will take place from October 21-25 at venues throughout the city. Electronic music concerts will occur non-stop, day and night, throughout the duration of the event. Large performances and an influx of over 500,000 attendees will cause traffic buildup, road closures, heightened security measures, and pressures on public transportation and emergency services. Severe travel delays are expected.
