A strike by transportation workers in Lima, Peru will limit services on November 14. Workers are striking to protest the government’s inability to address extortion and violence inflicted on transportation workers by criminal organizations. The stoppage will include multiple forms of transportation including busses, minibusses, taxis, and vans. A current state of emergency in the city means that any possible associated protests could be shut down forcefully.
