Incident Details

Severe storms affected Malaga and the Costa del Sol, Spain, from the evening of November 5 through November 6. Heavy rainfall of up to 1 inch per hour and wind gusts reaching 44 mph, caused flash flooding and transport disruption. Authorities issued weather alerts and suspended outdoor activities, closed public spaces, and disrupted regional rail services. Localized flooding in coastal and low-lying areas persisted into November 6 due to continued rainfall intensity.
