Warnings have been issued for flooding and landslides, as well as for high waves in coastal areas.   • Himachal Pradesh, India: Weather Advisory | Until July 15, strong winds and heavy rain are forecast across the state. Since July 10, severe rainfall, landslides, and flash floods have blocked 249 roads and disrupted 463 power transformers. Further flooding and landslides are possible, and disruptions to travel and essential services are anticipated. Across Himachal Pradesh, at least 92 people have died since the onset of the monsoon. Mandi district is the worst affected. The outbreak was preceded by a surge in flu-like symptoms among students. Authorities are conducting mass screening in the affected area. Pneumococcal meningitis is a serious bacterial infection that spreads from person to person through respiratory droplets. Symptoms include sudden fever, intense headache, neck stiffness, vomiting, and sensitivity to light. The illness can progress rapidly and requires urgent antibiotic treatment. Transport workers will strike across Lima, Peru, on March 5 over driver killings and extortion; expect citywide travel disruptions.

Limited air travel resumed in the United Arab Emirates on March 4 following previous airspace closure due to conflict in the region.

Airlines have partially resumed operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Travel delays will continue until at least March 6. Air travel slowed in the UAE after several airports were struck by Iran. Not all ongoing flights are commercial, as airlines are assisting with evacuations.
