I am an Intelligence Analyst Intern at SafeAbroad, supporting the development of tactical and strategic reporting on global risks that affect international travel. I research and assess threats such as protests, crime, and infrastructure disruptions, contributing to SafeAbroad’s mission of keeping students and travelers safe abroad. Anti-government protests and intermittent strikes are expected to continue across major Argentine cities in the coming weeks. Weekly Wednesday demonstrations at Plaza del Congreso in Buenos Aires regularly draw unions, retirees, and civil groups, with additional actions often emerging with little notice. Expect recurring roadblocks, heavy police deployments, and travel delays near protest sites.
