A gunman has opened fire at the Teotihuacan Pyramids on April 20. The armed individual opened fire from the top of the Pyramid of the Moon resulting in one death and 13 injured. Authorities assess the attack is a lone-actor incident. The incident is no longer active following the perpetrator’s self – inflicted gunshot wounds. Security forces, including police and the National Guard have responded and confirmed the site has been secured and under control.

This is the second strike planned by the Metges de Catalunya Union, with additional strikes planned until July. Previous strike saw participation nationwide, with over 1000 doctors from Barcelona taking part. Youths part of the ‘School Strike Against Conscription’ group will protest and strike across multiple cities in Germany on March 5. The protest will take place at multiple times across the different cities from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Protesters will gather at significant locations, including major bridges, the main train stations, and historical monuments. Road closures and travel disruptions are expected. Previous protest by this group drew 55,000 participants nationwide.
