An ongoing fire at the Hotspur Press building in Manchester, United Kingdom will disrupt travel over the coming hours.

As of June 23, a fire has broken out in the Hotspur Press building. The ongoing fire has caused the evacuation of nearby apartment buildings and the temporary closure of Oxford Road station due to concerns of smoke and asbestos. Disruptions at the rail station are expected until 11:00 PM. A significant emergency presence is currently at the scene, and several nearby roads have been closed until further notice.

Tropical Storm Wutip will disrupt travel across Southern China until at least June 15; flash flooding and landslides are possible.

Tropical Storm Wutip initially made landfall in Hainan on June 13, and then made landfall again in Guangdong province where it is forecast to weaken into a storm remnant by June 15 near Jiangxi. Strong winds of up to 70 miles per hour and heavy rainfall are expected. Flash flooding and landslides are possible.

Avoid demonstrations and roadblocks in the coming hours following a Supreme Court ruling in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 10.

As of June 10, protesters are gathering following Argentina’s Supreme Court ruling to uphold former president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner’s prison sentence for corruption. Roadblocks have been set up on major highways including Autopista Pablo Riccheri (near International Airport Ezeiza), Colectora Este Panamerica, Autopista Acceso Oeste, and Buenos Aires-La Plata. Clashes between protesters and security forces are likely in the coming hours.

Wildfires in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Canada have prompted evacuations, air quality alerts, and states of emergency through June 27–28.

States of emergency have been declared in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan provinces until at least June 27-28 due to ongoing and uncontained wildfires. More than 25,000  people have been ordered to evacuate in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Smoke has caused air quality alerts to be issued across Canada and the United States. 

Disruptions expected as pro-monarchy protesters gather for an indefinite nationwide protest in Nepal on May 29.

Pro-monarchy activists will protest indefinitely in urban hubs nationwide starting May 29. The demonstration is organized by the Joint People’s Movement Committee to call for the reinstatement of the Hindu kingdom. Organizers have stated that the demonstration will remain nonviolent, though a previous associated protest on March 28 led to two deaths and at least 110 injured. Minor clashes are possible.
