Incident Details

The US Embassy in Seoul has advised US citizens to exercise caution around Gwanghwamun Square due to a concert on March 21 between 8:00-9:00 PM. The concert is estimated to have a crowd of 250,000 people. South Korean authorities have labeled the event as a “caution” because of potential ‘crowd crushes’ due to the high density of attendees. Road closures will begin at 6:00 PM on March 20 and continue until the morning of March 22. Public transportation will be significantly disrupted during this time period.
