Tropical Depression Sinlaku to Cause Flashfloods and Landslides in Vietnam Possibly Until August 8

Incident Details

On August 2, the passage of Tropical Depression Sinlaku (locally known as No. 02) has made landfall between Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces. Sinlaku is forecasted to move further inland, in a north-western direction, and weaken into a low-pressure system in northern Laos. Sinlaku will bring heavy rain and strong winds until at least August 8, which will likely result in flash floods and landslides.
