Meteorological authorities expect Tropical Cyclone Narelle to impact parts of Queensland, as well as broadly northern and eastern Australia on March 20 as a category 5 system, with winds up to 130 mph, causing significant disruptions. The cyclone is currently within the Coral Sea, on the eastern part of the country gaining strength. Authorities have issued evacuations due to the expectation of extreme rainfall, landslides, and flash flooding.
