Torrential rainfall and flooding in Vietnam until November 10; defer non-essential travel and exercise caution. 

Incident Details

There has been torrential downpours across central Vietnam since October 25. The heavy rain has triggered widespread flooding, leaving at least 37 people dead, 5 missing, and 78 injured. There has also been severe damage to transportation infrastructure including national highways. More than 22,000 people have evacuated in Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue.  More landslides and flash floods are expected in the coming days.
