Incident Details

The event will begin with the raising of the Go Teng pole at 5:00 PM on October 9. Starting on October 10, shrines will organize street processions between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM in Old Phuket Town, and hold fire-walking ceremonies at 8:00 PM. The parades will be accompanied by firecrackers and rituals. The largest procession will take place on October 18 in Saphan Hin. Expect large crowds and road closures.

Traveler Safety
