Incident Details

Ecuador will enforce overnight curfews in Guayas, Manabi,Los Rios, El Oro, and Esmeraldas provinces from November 1 to 10 under Executive Decree 519. Movement will be restricted daily from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM as security forces intensify operations against organized crime, drug trafficking, and violent crime. Ecuadorian police, military personnel, and traffic officers will enforce the restrictions. Exceptions may apply in justified emergencies.
