Pro-monarchy activists will protest indefinitely in urban hubs nationwide starting May 29. The demonstration is organized by the Joint People’s Movement Committee to call for the reinstatement of the Hindu kingdom. Organizers have stated that the demonstration will remain nonviolent, though a previous associated protest on March 28 led to two deaths and at least 110 injured. Minor clashes are possible.
