On December 10 in Peru, the National Alliance of Transport Workers (ANITRA) is striking nationwide to protest security concerns for transport workers. Demonstrations are planned in most major cities, and the protest in Lima is expected to start at 3:00 PM at the Plaza San Martin. Major disruptions to transit will occur nationwide.
