Incident Details

A stabbing on July 21 left one dead and three injured near Sillim Station in the Gwanak-gu district of Seoul, South Korea on July 21. The perpetrator was apprehended by police shortly thereafter. Police believe the attack was motivated by a mental health episode, and is likely a standalone incident. The area remains taped off as the scene is assessed and cleaned up.
