Storm Goni to Impact Vietnam Between November 4 and 6

Incident Details

Storm Goni is expected to cause significant flooding and landslides within the central provinces between 4 and 6 November. According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the storm will bring heavy rainfall with provinces likely to be hit by strong winds of up to 103-117 kph. At least 36 people were killed and 58 remain missing after Typhoon Molave hit the central provinces. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue operations continue.
