Tropical Storm Dujuan is expected to impact Japan during Silver Week, with heavy rainfall and associated travel disruptions from September 19-24.

Incident Details

Typhoon No. 25 (Dujuan) is expected to affect parts of Japan during the Silver Week holiday period, with the strongest impacts initially expected in the Ogasawara Islands before the system moves toward the Izu Islands and Kanto region. With warning of heavy rainfall, strong winds, high waves, flooding of low-lying areas, river rises and landslides, impacts in the Kanto regions are expected  from September 20-21.
