Disciplinary Policies

Your university has a set of disciplinary policies that you must follow abroad. Make sure you review them before your trip.

As a student it is your responsibility to abide by the regulations set forth by your university. These may be different from those at home.

If your study abroad experience is through a host university different than your own, make sure you read their policies for their students and for students they take on for study abroad.

It is also your responsibility to be familiar with the local laws of your host country.
As a student you should be proactive, not reactive.

This means you should review your University’s code of conduct as it still applies to you abroad. Also review the code of conduct of your host university, if you are not attending a study abroad program on a satellite campus at your own university.
