Holy Week in Óbidos will cause travel delays and road closures with multiple events and processions starting March 29 through to April 5. Holy Week is one of the largest historical events in Óbidos and attracts a large number of tourists every year. Many locals will be out of office throughout the week. Expect a variation in regular business hours, public transportation, road closures and traffic.
