Measles cases are expected to peak between March and April, with high rates lasting through July. A total of 84 cases have been reported in 2026, an increase from the 6 cases reported in 2025 and the 30 cases reported in 2024 at the same time of year. The virus is highly contagious, with common symptoms including fever, cough, and rash. Measles can be prevented through immunization.
