Incident Details

The exchange of airstrikes between Israel, the U.S., and Iran has degraded security throughout the region on February 28. The attacks came amid failed negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. Explosions are reported in Israel and Iran, as well as at/near U.S. bases in Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Significant airspace closures have halted most flights over the region. Corresponding U.S. embassies have issued shelter in place orders for Gulf countries as well as in Israel.
