Over the coming days, Super Typhoon Man-yi (Pepito) will impact at least 11 of the 18 regions in the Philippines. Heavy rainfall and destructive winds up to 260 km/h (161.5 mph) will likely cause flooding and landslides, particularly near hills and in low-lying areas. The storm made landfall in Catanduanes at around 9:00 PM on November 16 and is forecast to move west-northwest over central and northern Philippines before passing into the South China Sea by early November 18.
