Until at least November 18, destructive winds and heavy rainfall from Super Typhoon Man-yi (Pepito) will impact the Philippines.

Over the coming days, Super Typhoon Man-yi (Pepito) will impact at least 11 of the 18 regions in the Philippines. Heavy rainfall and destructive winds up to 260 km/h (161.5 mph) will likely cause flooding and landslides, particularly near hills and in low-lying areas. The storm made landfall in Catanduanes at around 9:00 PM on November 16 and is forecast to move west-northwest over central and northern Philippines before passing into the South China Sea by early November 18.

On November 16, environmental activists will march in London, United Kingdom, to demand increased action against climate change.

On November 16 at 12:00 PM, environmental activists affiliated with the Climate Justice Coalition and Extinction Rebellion London will gather near the British Museum before marching to 10 Downing Street to demand increased action against climate change and denounce fossil fuel usage. The demonstration will likely be well attended. Police presence and disruptions on roads and walkways are likely. Minor clashes between police and demonstrators are possible.
