Until at least November 18, destructive winds and heavy rainfall from Super Typhoon Man-yi (Pepito) will impact the Philippines.

Over the coming days, Super Typhoon Man-yi (Pepito) will impact at least 11 of the 18 regions in the Philippines. Heavy rainfall and destructive winds up to 260 km/h (161.5 mph) will likely cause flooding and landslides, particularly near hills and in low-lying areas. The storm made landfall in Catanduanes at around 9:00 PM on November 16 and is forecast to move west-northwest over central and northern Philippines before passing into the South China Sea by early November 18.

On November 16 at 12:00 PM, environmental activists affiliated with the Climate Justice Coalition and Extinction Rebellion London will gather near the British Museum before marching to 10 Downing Street to demand increased action against climate change and denounce fossil fuel usage. The demonstration will likely be well attended. Police presence and disruptions on roads and walkways are likely. Minor clashes between police and demonstrators are possible.

On November 16, 18, 20, and 22, air traffic controllers across Argentina will strike, affecting air travel.

On November 16, 18, 20, and 22, the Association of Technicians and Employees of Protection and Security in Air Navigation will strike to demand wage adjustments. Flight disruptions across the country are expected on November 16 from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, November 18 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, November 20 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and November 22 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Starting November 15 at 8:00 AM, airport workers will partake in a slowdown strike indefinitely across Chile, affecting flights.

Unionized workers in Chile will partake in an indefinite slowdown strike starting November 15 at 8:00 AM. Workers will still work during the strike but will intentionally slow operations. The strike will condemn the government for failing to increase pay and benefits. Past slowdown strikes have affected dozens of flights; this one is expected to do the same.

On November 13, counter-protesters attacked activists and police used force to disperse crowds in Lilongwe, Malawi, further unrest is possible.

On November 13, protesters gathered across Lilongwe to demand political reforms and accountability in government. Counter-protesters clashed with demonstrators at various locations across the city, leading to police using tear gas to disperse crowds. Attackers armed with machetes, allegedly associated with the Malawi Congress Party, injured at least one bystander at the Lilongwe Community Ground. Further unrest is possible.

Over the coming hours, heightened security and travel disruptions are likely in Brasilia, Brazil, following a car bombing.

On November 13 at around 7:30 PM, a car bomb detonated near the Supreme Court, which has been attributed to a suicide attack. One person was killed, and no additional injuries have been reported. Authorities have deployed additional security forces and evacuated the area including the Three Powers Plaza. Disruptions will likely persist for several hours while authorities clear the area.
