Until at least November 23, severe snowstorm advisories are in effect in Germany, Finland, Ireland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Business, transportation, and travel disruptions are likely. Power outages are also possible depending on the amount of snowfall. Emergency crews may take days to clear roads and remove debris.
From November 19 to November 22, members of the Dominica Medical Guild will strike across all public hospitals in the Dominican Republic to demand higher pay. Associated protests are possible. The strike will cause significant disruptions to public and primary care medical services. Emergency services will still be provided.
