Protest Against Police Brutality Taking Place in Mexico on July 17
A protest has been called on July 17 to take a stand against police brutality and state-sponsored violence, following the death of a 30-year-old bricklayer in police custody. Protests will begin at 10:00 local time at the Niños Héroes roundabout before moving to Plaza de Armas, where a demonstration will be held. Clashes between civilians and police forces are possible.
