On November 22, a car exploded due to unknown causes on Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, Canada resulting in checkpoint closures and heightened security.

On November 22 at 11:30 AM, a car exploded while crashing into Rainbow Bridge at the U.S.-Canada border in Niagara Falls causing two deaths and one injury. The explosion has resulted in increased security at U.S.- Canada border checkpoints in New York and the closures of three border checkpoints: Peace Bridge, Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, and Whirlpool Bridge. Law enforcement is actively investigating the situation. 

The Hamburg Airport in Germany faces ongoing travel and security disruptions following a hostage crisis on November 4.

After an 18-hour hostage standoff at the Hamburg Airport, German police successfully arrested a 35-year-old man suspected of carrying a gun and explosives. The individual captured held hostage a four-year-old girl. Security forces successfully apprehended the individual with air travel resuming after over 100 flight cancellations and delays.
