On June 22, a wildfire caused mass evacuations in the central and southern regions of Rhodes, Greece. At least 19,000 tourists and residents were evacuated from villages and hotels across the region. Heavy smoke and limited visibility have resulted in cancelled inbound and outbound flights. Further evacuations are likely if the fire continues to spread.
