Typhoon Shanshan is forecast to continue northeast across Japan in the next few days.

Incident Details

Through at least September 4th, Typhoon Shanshan is forecast to continue northeast across Japan from the Kyushu region through Shikoku, Kinki, Chobu, and Kanto, potentially reaching as far northeast as Tokyo.  The storm caused landslides and destruction in Kyushu. Train, ferry, and bus services have been halted in the regions affected.
