Security Incident Related to COVID-19 Business Restrictions in Ecuador

Incident Details

Due to COVID-19 also known as the Coronavirus, markets and vendors were instructed to cease business operations.  Police were dispatched to enforce these regulations where tear gas and batons were used to disperse individuals who were protesting government mandates. 

Traveler Safety
