Incident Details

On December 2, a man armed with a knife and hammer attacked three people, killing one, along the Quai de Grenelle in Paris, France, near the Eiffel Tower. The assailant reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” before the attack, and was listed on several terrorism watchlists. Police apprehended the attacker, but certain areas in the vicinity remain closed. An elevated police presence will cause disruptions in the area while investigations continue.
