1 person died and 2 were hospitalized after a stabbing at Diaconal Center De Bakkerij in Leiden, Netherlands at 9:30 AM on July 14. The center is known to be a shelter for the homeless, and the victims were workers there. A suspect was detained in the hours following the stabbing. There is still a heightened police presence in the area as authorities conduct their investigation.
