Incident Details
On September 15 in Poland the Międzygórze reservoir and the Stronie Śląskie reservoir were both overwhelmed by recent severe rains. The overflow resulted in Bystrzyca Kłodzka being evacuated. Temporary shelters have been set up in schools and the Gorzanów Palace. The flooding in southern Poland has caused two deaths and has led the Prime Minister to declare a state of emergency.

Safeabroad travelers are advised to avoid areas with risk of flooding as well as areas near flooding. Travelers are also advised to be ready to evacuate if needed and monitor local media for updates. Severe delays should be expected.
