Southern Italy Faces Severe Weather and Flash Flood Conditions Through October 28

Incident Details

On 25 through 28 October, warnings were issued for southern Italy, especially Calabria and Sicily regions, due to severe weather conditions.  Heavy rainfall and strong winds have hit the regions, disrupting transportation and infrastructure. At least one person has died and others are missing. Flash floods and landslides are likely to occur.
