Nationwide Strike in Germany to Cause Railway Travel Disruptions on August 11-13

From 11-13 August, the German Train Drivers’ Union members will be conducting a nationwide strike in Germany. The strike is an attempt to receive higher wages as the union is in the middle of contract negotiations with the Deutsche Bahn rail company. Rail travel nationwide will be disrupted and route cancellations are highly likely over those few days.
