Previously mentioned anti-government protests throughout Brazil on 11 August were assigned times and locations. The protest is against cutting education funds and to demand the impeachment of President Jair Bolsonaro. Specific demonstrations have been announced for Sao Paulo outside the Municipal Theatre and Brasilia Ministry of education both at 16:00, and Rio de Janeiro Largo da Carioca at 17:00. Other protests are likely in other areas of the country.
